Final Veil will be playing music for the supper show series hosted by Cora Camille called "Arabian Nights" which will run every friday night in March from 6:30-8:30pm at Jumpin Jupiter in Maplewood. Guests will delight in a three-course meal while being entertained by a variety of bellydance performances and live music by Final Veil which will be intertwined in the saga of 1001 Nights. Final Veil will wrap up 2011 with the production "Cairo Cabaret," a show featuring an amazing line up of the most celebrated bellydancers from around town (and from up north!) at a swanky new supper club and theater in Maplewood called Jumpin' Jupiter on Friday, December 9th. Hosted by Cora Camille, the show will feature live music by Final Veil and a wide variety of bellydance troupes and soloists ranging from gorgeous cabaret dancers to mysterious and hypnotic tribal dancers.

Guests will delight in the accompanying light show and full experience that harkens back to the age of cabaret and fine entertainment for your sophisticated soul. This will be a rare showcase not to be missed! Doors at 9pm, show at 10pm, VIP seated tickets $15, general admission $10. Final Veil in Japan Benefit Concert

After seeing the destruction and devastation in Japan due to the recent tsunami, a large group of St. Louis musicians, spearheaded by Saint Louis Symphony's Asako Kuboki, are getting together to donate performances in a benefit show with 100% of the show's proceeds to go to the Red Cross to aid the relief effort in Japan. "Ole', Habibi!" A Flamenco/bellydance Fusion show coming on December 3, 2010

Our next big show of this fall season is called "Ole', Habibi!" It is a flamenco/bellydance fusion show which will feature live music by Final Veil and The Reventones, live flamenco dancing by Los Flamencos, and live bellydancing by Cora Camille, Chellcy (Malta/EU), Fringe Benefits (Chicago), Sumaiya, Anna Bahn, and Sakinah Ali.

The evening will be the first of its kind in St. Louis- a true blend of middle eastern and flamenco music and dance with the added modern twist by Final Veil.

Also, for dancers, there will be a workshop by Chellcy on Saturday, Dec. 4. Description below.

My Wednesday night beginner/intermediate classical Egyptian belly dance class is moving to a new location starting this week. We will be in a beautiful and spacious dance studio downtown St. Louis just blocks away from our original location at the Art Lofts building. Class time is being moved later by 15 minutes. We have been writing lots of new material; be on the lookout for a new album in the next year..... Final Veil in the St. Louis Film Festival

Final Veil's music video for "Just a Memory" was selected to be in the St. Louis Film Festival at the Tivoli in University City. The film will run with a series of other short films on Sunday, July 18 at 9:30pm in theater 1 of the Tivoli theater. We are also currently in the process of editing footage for our next video which will feature the song "Sand Against Steel" and will be starring Cora Camille, MC Zulu, a host of beautiful bellydancers and the big local star "Victor the Constrictor" (a six-foot boa constrictor!). Stay tuned for release date late this summer!

We have a lot of projects in the works this spring. We just shot a music video for "Mission Over" that will be released in April, stay tuned here and on youtube for the release....... Also, we have formed an exciting partnership with Moon Belly Studio of Columbia, MO to do some exciting shows together this spring, check out the debut in Columbia at Mojo's on Saturday, April 17 (EARLY show! 7-9pm). The collaboration will feature the full troupe of bellydancers performing with our live set of music, a rare event for those of you thirsty for a show that goes above and and beyond....... Lastly, we are gearing up for our spring "Future of the Orient III" event at Atomic Cowboy on Friday, June 4. This show will feature all kinds of new bellydance talent and some special surprises! Final Veil is proud to announce the second show of our series "The Future of the Orient" will be held at Atomic Cowboy (4140 Manchester, St. Louis) on Friday, December 11, 2009. The show will feature an amazing line up of the best in bellydance in our area as well as live music by Final Veil and the night will end with a dj playing middle eastern and Indian dance music. Dance performances by Cora Camille, Ami Amore and Exotic Rhythms, Diana, Lauren and Lotus Arts, Sakinah Ali and Tribe Ayaka, Salwa, Serena, Aalim's Arabian Silk, Nubian Jewels of the Nile, Cairo Sound Clash, Sumaiya, Deserae Hunyar, The Vagabond Girls, Carol, and Jeanne. For Cora's friends in London, remember her running around like a mad woman with a tripod and camera around the city last summer?..... the other part of it is shot in a warehouse space in the Lemp neighborhood of good ol' St Louie.
